Our story
GardenOfLove began long ago as a single seed of love, watered by loss and grown into hope. In 1982, I met Zoey, a light so bright it felt heaven had placed her in my path. Our love was instant and sacred; we vowed to walk forever side by side. But forever can be fragile, and life found its way to carry us apart.
After many seasons apart, she called me with a trembling voice about a haunting dream. She feared she was losing me. I reassured her, never imagining the dream was not about her losing me, but about me losing her. Three days later, her heart fell silent at just thirty-one. And mine shattered.
That loss did not end me; it awakened me. It was more than grief; it was a calling. I could not be there for her, could not ease her family’s sorrow, and that helplessness burned into me like fire. Yet within that fire, a seed of purpose was sown.
Zoey’s dream became my vow: to live a life rooted in love, freedom, and kindness for all. For years, I carried her memory in silence until the seed within me grew into a vision, a place where no one is left alone in their pain, where generosity shines, and compassion blooms into action. That seed has now grown into GardenOfLove.
